The exchanges coordinator of the Mathematics Department is Gökhan Benli. Please contact Gökhan Benli regarding any questions related to exchange programs.
The exchange programs of METU are coordinated by the International Cooperations Office (ICO). All the necessary information related to the exchange programs can be found on the web page of ICO.
In addition to the METU rules for exchange programs, the Mathematics Department has the following rules:
-
Only students with a CGPA of 3.0 or greater will be approved.
- Students will be allowed to take only elective courses at the receiving institution.
- The department expects the first two-year curriculum to be successfully finished before applying to an exchange program. Hence, only students in 3rd or 4th year will be approved.
- If you are applying for a non-English institution, strong evidence of foreign language is required.
Also note that, for a course taken during the exchange program to be counted in your METU transcript, you must obtain at least CC or higher METU equivalent grade.
Please contact Gökhan Benli or Canan Bozkaya before applying to any exchange program.
