Sinem Çelik Onaran is rewarded with the Masatoshi Gündüz İkeda Research Award (2017). She is currently an associate professor at Hacettepe University and obtained her PhD degree from our department in 2009. 

The ceremony will be on Thursday, May 24, 2018 at 15:30 at Gündüz İkeda Seminar Room. Sinem Çelik Onaran will give a talk on "Legendrian knots in contact 3-manifolds".

The purpose of İkeda Research Award is to evaluate and announce the mathematical research of eminent young scientists working in Turkish Republic in order to commemorate Masatoshi Gündüz İkeda. The award is held since 2002 by Mathematics Foundation of Turkey.
